Recipe Modifications:

  1. Replace high calorie, high saturated-fat butter with no sugar added applesauce. You can use cinnamon-flavored applesauce when appropriate
  2. Replace high calorie, high sugar table sugar with sugar substitutes
  3. Replace high calorie, high saturated-fat heavy cream, whole milk, and cheese with their low-fat and fat-free versions
  4. Replace white flour, with half whole-wheat flour
  5. Use low calorie extracts like vanilla, almond and pumpkin pie spice to flavor foods

-Chicken Breast -Gravy
-Pork Tenderloin -Casseroles
-Fish -Stuffing/Dressing

-Salad -Pies, Cakes, and other Desserts
-Fresh Fruit (try the recipe of the month instead)
